Hi Crafty everyone!


This is my first blog so here it goes...... Arts and Crafts has been a passion of mine for years. When my kids were small and there was little money in the piggy we'd make handmade gifts for there friends at school. Valentines was always big in the house. Oh no ...not just the simple little cutout hearts on a sucker for us.This project would become an enormous escapade for no less than 100+ kids.
why 100+ kids you ask?
Well I'm the proud mom of 7 (seven) kids "grown and gone" and making each child a classroom full of gifts plus 1 teacher and assistant added up to quite a lot of people.
I now have seven (grands) w/one more on the way. So you can see why making and inventing and creating things help us through a lot of years. Actually I was a Design Engineer for 15 years before deciding to retire* (: ) I ran a small business for 4 years and ran a locale art sessions for my church during the summer months. Near future plans, a one woman crafts show in October (details later), teach some classes at out locale community college , continue to babysit, continue to create crafts !.
